How to play Spider Solitaire
Spider Solitaire uses two decks of cards. Make long runs of cards in the same suit, from King down to Ace, and each finished run flies up to the corner.
The goal
Build and clear all 8 runs, each one King down to Ace in a single suit.
How it works
- Tap a card and it jumps to its best spot: a 7 goes on an 8. Press and hold a card to see everywhere it can go.
- You may put any card on the next higher number, whatever its suit, but you can only move cards together when they are in the same suit and in order.
- Build a run in one suit from King down to Ace. It flies up to the corner by itself.
- Out of moves? Tap Deal a row to add one new card to every column. Every column needs a card first, so fill any empty ones.
- Clear all 8 runs to win.
Friendly tips
- Choose 1 suit to learn, 2 suits for a medium game, and 4 suits for a real challenge.
- Try to build on cards of the same suit. A mixed pile is harder to move later.
- Try to empty a column. An empty space is very useful for moving cards around.
- Save Deal a row until you have made the moves you can; it adds cards on top of every column.
- Hint and Undo are always there when you need them.
